Sadie Cannon was born and raised in Ocala, Florida. She first fell in love with performing when doing plays at the local theatre in her town. Additionally, her mother enrolled her in piano lessons where her passion for music began to grow. Throughout her life she has played multiple instruments including clarinet, guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar. In 4th grade, Sadie started to gain interest in songwriting.
Growing up Sadie had three older sisters who all enjoyed different genres of music, along with her father who listened to various oldies tunes. This exposure to multiple types of genres made sadie very open to a variety of styles. Her love of visiting the Florida beaches eventually influenced her music to embrace a carefree beachy sound. Many friends and family found it ironic that the pop-artist had such a passion for the arts and music due to being a two-time state champion volleyball player, and four-time state qualifying weightlifter. Many thought she would potentially try to pursue a career in one of the sports, but she took everyone by surprise when she set off to take on the music industry.
